Who We Are

The Chicago Council on Planned Giving (CCPG) is a professional association with more than 250 members who represent a true cross-section of Chicago’s not-for-profit community. Approximately one-half of CCPG members represent Chicago’s largest banks, financial institutions, and law firms - the donor side of the equation. Its other members represent a wide-range of charitable institutions, from small social service organizations to prominent national organizations, universities and hospitals.

What We Do

CCPG is committed to advancing the education and professional development of not-for-profit planned giving and allied professionals to enhance impact of Chicago’s philanthropic community. CCPG hosts four Bi-Monthly Programs each year, averaging around 100 attendees per meeting. In addition, CCPG hosts a comprehensive Annual Symposium that brings in nationally-renowned speakers and attendees from across the region. This hallmark, all-day event attracts more than 250 planned giving and allied professionals of diverse backgrounds and represents the largest component of our Annual Sponsorship Package.
