Undue Influence and the Undermining of the Gift Planner’s Effort
Establishing a vibrant relationship with potential and actual donors is critical to developing a robust gift planning program.  Donors will change their minds on their gifts from time to time for legitimate reasons.  However, donors also are subject to influences when they are in a vulnerable position, allowing the undue influencer to erode years of goodwill established by the gift planner.  This program is designed to educate the gift planner about the realities of undue influence and its legal implications as well as how to prevent undue influence. CFRE:  Full participation in Undue Influence and the Undermining of the Gift Planner's Effort is applicable for 1.25 points in Category 1.B -Education of the CFRE International application for initial certification and/or recertification..
