WTTW (Chicago PBS) and WFMT (classical music radio station) are looking for an Associate Director of Development, Major Gifts who will raise revenue through developing relationships with prospects and donors that result in financial support for WTTW and WFMT, with an emphasis on managing a portfolio of donors and projects as well as managing or co-managing fundraising projects for the development team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Portfolio management responsibilities include:
· Cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of 125 - 150 prospects and major donors to WFMT and WTTW at the $5,000 - $25,000 level.
· Conduct 15 to 20 meaningful points of contact a week with donors, making regular in-person donor visits a priority.
· Work with director of stewardship to ensure the intricate benefit fulfillment for donors, including appropriate and accurate recognition and personalized, meaningful contacts.
· Work with director of events to facilitate invitations to events that align with donor interests and attend events, which include occasional evenings and weekends.
· Employ the Tessitura CRM to plan and track all relevant activities.
· Other duties as assigned.
Project management responsibilities include:
