Challenging Times & Challenging Donors
Giving conversations can be interrupted or stalled for a variety of reasons. In a charged election season and a trying year for all, the likelihood of difficult conversations between donors and fundraisers increases. The ability to diagnose challenges and employ a set of communication tools designed to progress the discussion can help fundraising professionals navigate through these situations to arrive at better outcomes for themselves, their organizations, and their donors.

Learning objectives will include:

  • Identify several common types of challenging donor situations
  • Develop communication frameworks to be used in these situations
  • Understand the value of “radical honesty”
CFRE: Participants will earn 1 hour of CFRE credit. CCPG is an approved CFRE provider.
